Research Day offers all HBKU students and researchers a platform to present their research and showcase their findings, and an opportunity to receive valuable feedback from their colleagues.
On Research Day, awards will be given for projects that demonstrate outstanding and innovative research aligned with the HBKU themes. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for student research posters and researcher posters will be determined by expert judges (and online vote) and awarded at the awards ceremony on Research Day 2023. The 1st and 2nd place student awardees will receive a 15K and 10K QAR respectively to support his/her research (eligible for conference travel expenses).
Additionally, the 10 finalist posters in each category (students and researchers/faculty) will be displayed at the venue on Research Day 2023.
A poster showcase will be held for a week prior to Research Day event starting 11 October 2023. The exhibition, which will include all posters adhering to the submission criteria, will highlight the breadth of research and scholarly activity undertaken by students and researchers at HBKU. All participants will be requested to attend a poster session which will include the jury evaluation.
