Demo showcase

The core mission of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is to find solutions to real-world problems faced in Qatar and the world. Our researchers are committed to transforming concepts into tangible solutions that address real-life challenges. Research day is an opportunity to showcase HBKU’s latest research solutions in the form of prototypes, and demo systems among other things. We invite all HBKU researchers, faculty, postdocs, and students to submit their proposals for the demo exhibition. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase research advancements and technologies; to engage with a diverse audience of peers and attendees representing academia, government, and industry with the aim to stimulate future collaborations.

Due to the limited space, and to ensure the highest quality and relevance, a review and selection process will be employed based on the inventiveness, impact and merit of the demo submission. Selected participants will be notified and provided with further instructions for the demo exhibition.

An award will be presented on Research Day to the best demo, acknowledging contributions to the advancement of knowledge in alignment with the following focus themes: Sustainability, Precision Health, Social Progress, Progressive Education, and Artificial Intelligence.
